@chrisgunter79@johnwcody1@DLynchSport Read it again. There are 3 criteria. For it to be black card and pen all 3 must be met. The 3rd one is certainly met, that of goal scoring opportunity, as is the 2nd.
@chrisgunter79@johnwcody1@DLynchSport There are 3 criteria. #1 is possession or control of ball. #3 is goal scoring opportunity.
Whether #1 was met is debatable. Criteria #3 was definitely met, it was a goal scoring opportunity. No serious person is denying that.
@chrisgunter79@JamesReardon13@DLynchSport Are you seriously trying to say that a move in where if the ref had played the advantage, it would have been given as a goal, was not a goal scoring opportunity. Christ almighty.
@chrisgunter79@DLynchSport That picture proves nothing, carefully note where Duggan is. And the ball still ended up in the net without him being able to challenge. So dunno how anyone can deny its not a goal scoring opportunity. It ended up in the net
@Lacey_Brian Can you give the pen without black card? Foul is outside? Should it not just have been a free in if you deemed player not in control of ball (dubious)
@SmallerFishGAA Is Galways strength in the middle of the field a bit of a myth? Apart from Darcy, who in that midfield is really a top class fielder or lets call it controlled breaker of the ball?
@MalachyClerkin The penalty calls were in no way equal. Hayes on Hayes was a nailed on pen, the other one was a tight call, two lads grappling for position.
