Some more Hawks ball tonight for the AP. No Ja Morant due to back soreness.

Much better second half for the Hawks. Atlanta wins its fourth-straight game, 124-112.

End of the first half. Pelicans lead 59-58. New Orleans has three players with double digit point totals and are shooting 31% from behind the arc. Trae was given a technical just before half and just 4 points but he does already have 9 assists.

Three minutes left in the half and the Pelicans lead 52-44. Hawks seem stuck in second gear. Trae Young has as many points as turnovers (4).

End of the first and New Orleans leads 28-26.

Jalen Johnson off to a hot start with 7 of Atlanta’s 14 points. Hawks are up 14-11. Halfway through the first quarter.

Kennesaw State defeats No.24 Rutgers in the Owls’ first-ever win against a ranked team:

https://t.co/L3DIDaiLEN Kennesaw State beats No. 24 Rutgers 79-77 in program's 1st home game against ranked team

*Upset complete*

Kennesaw State 79, No. 24 Rutgers 77. A raucous home crowd definitely made for a great game day atmosphere. The Owls just couldn’t miss. And Rutgers was half asleep in the first half.

*Upset alert*
Braedan Lue with a monstrous dunk puts Kennesaw State up 31-19. Rutgers is totally sleepwalking right now.

What an atmosphere so far. Kennesaw State home crowd delirious as Jamil Miller hits a 3 to give the Owls their first-ever lead over a top-25 team, 11-9.

Curious to watch two possible top-10 2025 draft picks in Rutgers’ Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper.

Live from the Convocation Center in Kennesaw State’s first-ever nationally televised game against No. 24 Rutgers. Also the first ranked team the Owls have hosted in their history.

The Braves will start AJ Smith-Shawver in Game 1 against San Diego

Chris Sale not on the 26-man roster for the wild card series. Bryce Elder and AJ Smith-Shawver made the cut.

This game is a perfect microcosm of the Braves’ season.

I contributed to this story a few weeks ago, and I don’t think anyone could have predicted the season would end in such a perfect, dramatic way.
