Reza Anglingkusumo and I contributed a chapter on Indonesia’s macroeconomic policy and industrialization.
The chapter explores Indonesia’s economic evolution over the past two decades, focusing on productivity, competitiveness, and the role of savings and investment allocation in industrial development. It identifies priorities for supply-side reforms, emphasizing the need for an investment-driven, export-oriented strategy to support diversification into higher-value manufacturing and services.
