Callum Skillestad scored the game winner in overtime as boys lacrosse stormed back from down 3 with less than 4 minutes left to defeat Bellevue 14-13 and win their 4th straight State Championship!

Noah Ephrem just missed out on the podium in the High Jump, finishing 9th overall.

Elise Corr ran a strong race in the 3200M, placing 6th overall.

Henry Herb turned in a solid performance himself, placing 5th in his 3200M.

Some solid performances turned in during the final day of the WIAA State Track & Field Championships:

Zhenyu Chee picked up a pair of 6th place finishes, running strong in both the 100M and 200M finals.

Macy Powell closed strong in the final kick to finish 5th in the 800M.

Macy Powell finished 8th in the prelims of the 800M, advancing to Saturday’s finals. Will Jackson finished 16th in the boys 800M and did not advance

Andrew Poole finished 9th in State in the discus, while Noah Ephrem placed 12th in the long jump

Ned Bishop completed a great day on the courts with a 6-0,6-1 win in the State Quarterfinals, advancing him into tomorrow’s State Senifinals at 11am.

Bishop lost just one game across his three matches today. 💪

Ned Bishop is onto the State Quarterfinals following another 6-0,6-0 win in his second match today.

Bishop will now play Jason Pham from
Thomas Jefferson at approximately 3pm today. The winner will advance to the State semifinals.

We’ve got results, highlights and State qualifiers from Day 1 of the District Track & Field Championships at Renton Stadium:

Noah Ephrem is #statebound in both the high jump (2nd in Districts) and the long jump (4th). He jumped 6’3” today in the HJ.

Softball saw their season come to an end in heartbreaking fashion, losing 6-5 on a walkoff in the opening round of State.

Hayden Downer stole 5 bases and Amelie LaPorte Manahan drove in a pair as the Panthers led until the final play of the game.
