I'm going to watch the tape today. In real time, I thought the pass-blocking was mostly good, although when Gulbin lost, he clearly lost. There were pressures from unblocked players on play-action (who were unblocked by design) and then instances when AK didn't adjust the protection/get the ball out fast enough when the Colts were in their 0 looks and had a numbers advantage

Gulbin should’ve gotten reps the entire preseason work and then you decide he’ll start against the colts best DT after seeing he was shaky.
You left out loser Dan Quinn. HIs 4th and 1 decision (running an "off the street" RB behind Gulbin was just dumb. It flipped the game.

Yes, going for that 4th was a huge unforced error that allowed Jones/the Colts to build confidence and change the momentum.
But that was going to happen sooner or later with AK in (not his fault). The biggest unforced error was playing Gulbin. It’s basically unforgivable.

I agree with the sentiment, but in reality when Gulbin and the OL got Marcus injured it was the beginning of the end. The O couldn't sustain drives, the D got tired, and Indy and the refs went to work. And Im not blaming the loss on the refs to be clear, the calls were egregious, but the lack of a run game, a 3rd string QB with a game plan not designed for him, and the mounting injuries all but sealed our fate.
@marcmane_ @LetMualTellit I agree. And i feel bad for the players because they've been handcuffed by the front office and coaches. Don't experiment with rookies during the season, which is what DQ said he was doing with Gulbin. Ripple effects proved catastrophic. Talent eval and game management r poor.

@JayDanielsMVP Putting a rookie 6th round pick like Gulbin against Buckner should be a fireable offense for whoever’s decision it was to do it. Even if Allegretti is injured, Wylie is an experienced vet

@GrantPaulsen I mean yesterdays loss wasn’t just with a 3rd string QB but a guy that’s probably barely had a rep in a month. What I am pissed about is every fan knew they had a weakness at interior line and they refused to acknowledge it. Gulbin, not ready. Allegretti not good enough.

@BenStandig The failure started the minute he cut Biadasz. There was no plan in place. The same with Ron, i.e. Moses/Trent. They lost the game yesterday with Gulbin at RG, vs Indy' best DL.

@JPFinlayNBCS It was a bad decision that totally changed momentum of the game, made worse by the bogus penalty on Amik. Gulbin should not have been in at RG.
@AsiasAnalysis Why not Wylie at RG? He played well last year. In fact, after the disaster join practice, Logan said gulbin would never play in that situation and it would always be Wylie.
People mad at Quinn when he doesn’t hold players accountable and then they’re mad when he does. Nick needed to be benched, Gulbin struggled 1st quarter, but then played better.
