On this note, if anyone tells you HIV/AIDS has no cure it's either the person is lying to you or is ignorant about it. The fact that you can't find the antidote doesn't make it nonexistent. Any disease created in the lab has its antidote created as well.

A - Assurance of God's love and presence.
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39) Even when the body is afflicted, nothing can separate a believer from the unbreakable love of Christ. Your identity is not in a diagnosisโ>your identity is in Him.
I - Inheritance that is imperishable.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you." (1 Peter 1:3-4) Your earthly tent may weaken, but you have an eternal inheritance reserved in heaven. This present suffering is โnot worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to usโ (Romans 8:18).
D - Deliverance and daily strength.
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair..." (2 Corinthians 4:7-8) God specializes in shining through fragile vessels. His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Every day you wake up is fresh evidence of His sustaining grace.
S - Salvation that is full and final.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) One day soon, every trace of sickness, sorrow, and death will be gone forever. Until that day, the same Jesus who conquered the grave walks with you through this valley.
