Daemon ordering Caraxes to assault Sheepstealer cements him as a worse father than both Tywin Lannister and Randyll Tarly.
Tywin’s cruelty stemmed from a cold, calculated obsession with family legacy. Randyll’s abuse stemmed from rigid, misplaced traditionalism. But Daemon’s attack on his own daughter’s dragon was purely cowardly self-preservation zero ideology.
By siccing Caraxes on Sheepstealer, he deliberately stripped Rhaena of her power, agency, and birthright just to placate Rhaenyra and cover up his own lies.
