The hyacinth roots block too much light. I would use them if I had high nutrients but I'm taking them out.

The water hyacinth has split many times and is growing strong! I have thrown away clutches before they flower/noroom

Its nice to see new leaves growing. All my plants are surviving except the hyacinth.

Well my hyacinth is toast! I can't tell if it died and then got eaten or was eaten and died. The new clone is left.

I thought my hyacinth was going to die from no light. It actually shot off a clone! In my main tank. :-)

My Cree XRE leds are 3 white and 3 blue. I'm going to have to replace them with Cree XPG. My hyacinth is in my main tank for now.

UGG! My refugium light finally died. I have dropped it in my water while on and cooked my tank. Led sealer works!:-)
