They aren't trading from the rotation unless it's Luis Castillo but that wouldn't make much sense for where the Giants are at. Kade and Sloan are untouchable. Not as good of a fit as many seem to think if pitching is what the Giants are after. While he has been really good, Schmitt just doesn't have the track record to demand a Hancock or Miller type

I mean the Mariners are notorious for a slow start offense that picks up when the weather gets warmer so that only bodes well for them. Again they don't fare well in traditional stats but have been very productive the last many years despite what you think. They've always come up short because ownership hasn't invested anything into the team or really gone for it until last year so we finally got to see some postseason success last season

I mean there really isn't a better stat to show overall team offensive production. They aren't ever good in traditional (meaningless) stats like Batting Average, but they get on base and hit HRs. Been their calling card for years and it's lead to the most success this franchise has ever had
