All the hard work culminated to this very moment in time! Yes, the Poetry Cafe, a place where Grade 6 students can present their finest masterpieces to one another. Here, students spoke with great emotion, and listened attentively. It was a day to remember. @StLukeOttawa

The Grade 6's of @StLukeOttawa created wonderful rhyming pattern poetry as well as Tanka and Haiku poems. The Tanka focused on their inner feelings, while the Haiku focused on the outside world. Both poems were placed within a shape representing their subjects. Truly beautiful!

Our Grade 6 students (@StLukeOttawa ) began dipping their toe into the wide ocean of poetry, as they practiced their descriptive writing with a focus on the 5 human senses, through a picture of their choosing. Here we have some rather nice choices!
