💦 No adverts and restricted by watchdog rules
💦 Commercial breaks, missed some action in one game
💦 Cut to ads and the breaks themselves have a sponsor
💦 Public service limits on ads after 8pm and on Sundays
This is how broadcasters around the world are using World Cup hydration breaks.
And, crucially, could they be here to stay?

@nycmarathon Here’s a picture of me setting a PR for time spent on a phone during a marathon. Not only trying to contact you but telling my friends, family, and donors that I was actually running, where I was, when I would pass them on the course if they were cheering.
@nycmarathon Here are my official results. I was never tracked, couldn’t be followed by fam + friends, couldn’t see my own pace, spent part of the race stopping to ask for help (and calling / tweeting you). All my hard work and effort ruined. And now, No response from you
@nycmarathon What if I have a medal but never officially ran the race because you didn’t track me? I have no official time or splits. Ruined my race and you won’t respond. Do I need to go to the #NYRRRUNCenter ft. the #NBRunHub to get an actual response?
@TeamforKids@nycmarathon Same today. No results in app or at the link (that was so confidently shared with me yesterday). Anybody want to address this joke of a situation?
@nycmarathon I followed your link. I have no finish time. Worse, none of my friends, family, TFK donors were able to follow me today. I spent the first 4 miles asking people on the course to help me, calling your help line, and tweeting at you.
It ruined my marathon.

Garret Temple played for both the Bulls and Raptors and shows as incorrect when entered in the square. What gives?
