Armenian-American author, political scientist, and president of the @EurasiaGroup, Ian Bremmer, sheds light on the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh and the imprisonment of Ruben Vardanyan during his commencement speech at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs graduation ceremony.

Bremmer is of Armenian descent from his mother’s side and grew up near Boston, MA. After receiving his MA and PhD from Stanford University, Bremmer went on to found the Eurasia Group in 1998, in addition to coining key political science concepts in his writings about global political risk, including the J-Curve, The Fat Tail, and Every Nation For Itself. Bremmer is also the founder of @GZEROMedia, a digital media firm.
