When humanity comes to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ seeking the Great Intercession, he will not immediately make his request.
Instead, He ﷺ will first prostrate before Allah swt beneath the Throne.
This teaches us a profound lesson: The Prophet ﷺ will humble himself before his Lord

• He ﷺ turned His ﷺ whole body toward the person speaking to him.
• He ﷺ gave people his full attention.

Addressing Prophet Muhammed ﷺ, the Quran says: "Allah has sent down to you the book and al-Hikmah (i.e. Islamic laws) and taught you that which you knew not. And ever great is the grace of Allah unto you." (Quran 4:113)
The Prophet ﷺ would stand in night prayer until his feet swelled. When asked why he did so despite being forgiven, he replied:
“Should I not be a grateful servant?”
