@CelineDionPHL@celinedion Right?! I’m a Celine fan, but I’ve noticed there are times when she comes off as almost bootlicking—being a bit extra with her praise for songwriters like Sia and Guy Sebastian.
This struggle—my body vs. my longing—started in childhood, intensifying when aroused. It’s a complex mix of emotions about my gender and desires. Writing untangles it, guiding me to self-acceptance. How do you process such feelings? 2/2 #LGBTQ#SelfAcceptance
Monsters We Speak 🧵
A poem of absence, pain, and healing. CW: Family, emotional pain.
I know you were a single mother—
relentless weight, like worn leather stretched thin across your shoulders.
No blame here—
just truth stripped bare, raw as cracked earth under a fading sun.
Perhaps the monster you hid
gnawed your heart in restless, whispered torment—
but it left me to carry
a darkness deep and old as roots beneath forgotten forests—
a burden I never chose,
yet one I could never shed.

A Tapestry Woven
In childhood’s haze, I didn’t fit—
a stranger in my skin, adrift.
Gender’s weight, a wordless ache,
dysphoria I couldn’t name.
Desire bloomed, a wild terrain,
both alien and vital flame.
I chased each spark, each fleeting sin,
exploring all my heart could spin.
