Regarding the misinformation and AI-generated media surrounding Mohammad Mohebi over the last few days:

Mohebi’s celebration against New Zealand is something he has performed throughout his career. It is also a common celebration among footballers and was notably used by French winger Bradley Barcola during this World Cup.

Following the match, Mohebi was seen giving his shirt to a section of supporters that included the pre-revolutionary Lion and Sun flag. He also addressed the celebration on social media, stating that there was no political or symbolic message behind it.

The video allegedly showing Mohebi removing a Woman, Life, Freedom poster has been flagged as AI-generated by AI-detection tools. The footage also contains visible inconsistencies, including changes in the color of his shoes.
