Everyone, no matter who you are will seek out an easier and cheaper way to acquire things. It’s not just cheap Indian smokes. Natives flock to grocery stores in urban areas all the time and no one has any issues with that.

We already have an electricity shortage so where do they plan on getting this electricity from?

Good luck getting another dam built like site c. That was a 20+ year process and the backlash from everyone saying it wasn’t needed or infringed on lands was ridiculous.

Windmills and solar panels won’t produce the electricity at a scale needed for that project.

I know nuclear is an option but good luck getting native to allow one of those to take up “their” precious lands if they can’t even let a pipeline right of way go through.

This government walked themselves into a situation where their policies have basically painted them in a corner.
