reflecting on #RCPCH22 conference
Feeling very proud to have played a part in helping to organise a conference which I hope has inspired, connected and energised paediatricians in the Uk and internationally to pave the way forward in child health 1/3
In @SlaveryMuseum as the Great great granddaughter of a Caribbean slave. A poignant, grounding moment having helped prep & chair at #RCPCH22@RCPCHtweets in the exact docks once dominant in the slave trade. Still much to do but reducing inequality now impacts generations! @bcdd
Love being a tourist anywhere I go. Interesting day sightseeing in Liverpool. Great to see the differences In artrchitecture, landscape, learning about cultural contributions beyond the Beatles, trying scouse and Everton mints. Always adding to my new fun facts store

and also the highlighted challenges we cannot ignore if we truly want to support equitable (not always equal), diverse and inclusive paediatric healthcare training, research, service delivery and most importantly everyday and ongoing care for children & young people (ok 4/4)
I’d like to keep that energise element going (And please join me) - highlighting and reminding (over the next few weeks and months) some of the sung and maybe less sung amazing #RCPCH22 (and subsequent developments of) things presented, discussed/occurring
