The music industry as it currently stands is broken. The streaming model doesn't work and the biggest artists today are mostly the same as they were a decade ago. Is it possible that the introduction of AI brings more upward mobility and new creativity to music? Absolutely.

I'm aware of the genuine concerns, but I hear them loudly and what I hear less is that the alternative is a defense of the status quo of inaccessibility to resources, gatekeeping and talent-based stardom as likely as a winning lotto ticket. Will AI solve this?
