After seeing the movie, I’m deeply concerned about them having a very linear plot, that lacks any of the explorative points they themselves set up: World falls into shambles, change in beliefs, a disabled… avatar I believe, and etc

The Fire bending looked cool, but th earth bending lacked punch, as if boulders are paper machete. I’m being overly picky on production, but overall willing to grade it as good for what it is.

My main concern is plot

@kristanishere 1. The show’s art direction reminds me of Vox Machina. Which isn’t a bad thing, if not for the fact that certain scenes lack weight to them that has come from the set style that built The last Air bender and improved upon by Korra

Sometimes I think that anime fans get so caught up on what labels an anime has, they forget to just enjoy the anime for what it is. A fantastic anime is fantastic, no matter what the genre ultimately is, imho. 🤷‍♀️ Enjoy it. 😉

Folks wouldn’t want physical? People enjoy choice. We still print books to tell stories, have vinyls to listen to music. Yes digital is convient, but the tactile touch, and ownership that comes from a physical library/gallery is unbeatable
