70 days ago, this grieving Palestinian mother buried her eldest son, journalist Mohammad Wishah. On Saturday, she returned to the same place to bury another son, Al Jazeera cameraman Ahmed Wishah.

Ahmed was killed in an Israeli air strike on a house in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

At least 10 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip on Saturday.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that Israel’s war crimes are “akin to going back to the era of the Nazis,” citing that over 20,000 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip, adding that these numbers cannot be hidden.

This sister, Zohar Regev, was born into a Jewish family in Palestine 54 years ago and held “Israeli” citizenship. However, she later left the country, embraced Islam, and became one of those defending her brothers and sisters in Palestine and working to break the siege on Gaza.

She was recently arrested during her participation in the “Freedom Flotilla” solidarity mission. While most of the participating activists were released, Zohar remains in detention.

How magnificent is this religion: the moment this woman embraced Islam, she became our sister. We care about her situation, pray for her, and recognize our responsibility to strive for her release just as we would strive for the release of our own sisters of flesh and blood.

Israeli aircrafts once again bombed the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza tonight as Palestinians continue enduring near daily bombardment despite the ceasefire that was supposed to halt the genocide and protect civilians.

Since the ceasefire took effect, thousands of Israeli violations were documented, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, mass shootings, detonations, and attacks on homes, refugee camps, journalists, police points, and civilian gatherings.

Palestinian health authorities say more than 850 Palestinians have been killed and thousands wounded by Israeli attacks during the ceasefire period alone.

The South Lakes Islamic Centre, otherwise known as the Lake District mosque in Cumbria, is making a final appeal to complete the construction of the masjid.

“Amin Abdullah was the security guard who risked his own life to alert the school and other individuals inside regarding the active shooter. He is the definition of a hero who bravely made the ultimate sacrifice to save others over himself.

Mansour Kaziha, lovingly known as Abu Ezz, was a community leader who managed the mosque store for nearly 40 years and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Nader Awad turned away community members from the bullets and saved lives.

These three protected children inside the center and school and there is no doubt that the casualties would have been much worse without their heroism.”
