جشن مهرگان، جشن مهر و روشنایی و یادگار کهن نیاکان ما، با پیروزی فریدون بر ضحاک و چیرگ�� نیکی بر بدی پیوند خورده است.

در روزگار ضحاک، خِرَد و هنر خوار می‌شود و جادو و نیرنگ ارج می‌یابد، دست دیوان به بدی دراز می‌شود و مغز جوانان، خوراک ماران ضحاک می‌گردد. تصویری از تاریکی و بیدادی که امروز در سیمای پلید جمهوری اسلامی نیز نمایان است.

در شاهنامه، ضحاک کشته نمی‌شود، بلکه در دماوندکوه به بند کشیده می‌شود. اما در روزگار ما، ضحاک زمانه، علی خامنه‌ای، سرانجام به زیر خاک کشیده شد.

این نخستین جشن مهرگان پس از هلاکت اوست که در دی‌ماه، ده‌ها هزار فرزند دلیر ایران را از ما گرفت. امسال، مهرگان را به یاد جاویدنامانی گرامی می‌داریم که در نبرد با ضحاک، جان خود را فدای ایران کردند، و در پاسداشت فرهنگ و هویت ملی ما که در سخت‌ترین روزهای تاریخ ایران، چراغ امید را روشن نگه داشته و نویدبخش پیروزی نور بر تاریکی بوده است.

از همه هم‌میهنان می‌خواهم در این آیین ملی، به دیدار خانواده‌های جاویدنامان میهن بروند و مهر، همدلی و قدردانی ملت را به آنان نشان دهند، خانواده‌هایی که عزیزترین‌های خود را در راه آزادی ایران از دست داده‌اند و یاد فرزندان‌شان، مشعل درخشان فردای ایران است.

Thank you for your principled stand at the United Nations and for giving voice to the people of Iran.

By speaking out against the Islamic Republic’s atrocities, including the massacre of tens of thousands of Iranians in January and the ongoing executions, you have shown moral clarity when too many others have remained silent.

Iranians will not forget those who stand with them in their struggle for freedom.

I look forward to the day a free Iran will be a friend and ally of Slovenia.

"I was pleased today to meet virtually with Coalition leaders Angus Taylor and Ted O’Brien and a number of Senators, for a constructive discussion about the situation in Iran, the aspirations of the Iranian people, and the future relationship between a free Iran and Australia. 

I am grateful to Mr. Taylor, Mr .O’Brien and their Coalition colleagues for their engagement and for their support for the Iranian people and Australia’s vibrant Iranian community. 

Our discussion focused on the horrific ongoing human rights abuses including the January massacres of over 40,000 protestors, the ongoing executions of young people, the importance of protecting Iranian-Australians from intimidation and foreign interference, and the role Australia can play in supporting the Iranian people’s ongoing fight for liberation and democracy.  

We also discussed the opportunities that could come with a free and democratic Iran. Australia has world-leading expertise in mining, energy, agriculture, education and technology. A free and prosperous Iran could become an important economic and strategic partner for Australia. I briefed Coalition members on the Iran Prosperity Project and our work to prepare now for Iran’s economic recovery and reconstruction. 

We agreed the freedom of the Iranian people should transcend party politics. I would therefore welcome the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Foreign Minister Penny Wong and other members of the Australian Government, as well as continuing my dialogue with the Coalition. 

I also look forward to visiting Australia in person, to meet political leaders from across the spectrum and, importantly, to meet members of the Iranian-Australian community. 

Australia has an opportunity to stand with the Iranian people today while beginning to build a relationship with the free, democratic and prosperous Iran of tomorrow. I am thankful that the Coalition took the first steps to do that, today."

Four years ago, the Islamic Republic murdered Mahsa Amini. It thought her death would terrorise a nation into silence. Instead, Iran rose.

Mahsa became a symbol of something greater: a nation rediscovering its shared strength.

Woman, Life, Freedom was a defining chapter in a struggle built through years of courage and sacrifice. Today, that struggle flows into the Lion and Sun Revolution, bringing Iranians of different generations, backgrounds and political traditions together around a common national purpose: Iran first, freedom for all, and the reclaiming of our country.

We remember Mahsa not only with grief, but with unity and determination. The regime has tried for decades to divide us. Our answer is to stand together.

For Mahsa. For all those we have lost. For Iran.

چهار سال از روزی می‌گذرد که جلادان ضحاک، جان دختر ایران، مهسا امینی، را گرفتند. جمهوری اسلامی گمان می‌کرد می‌تواند خون مهسا را نیز مانند خون بسیاری دیگر پایمال کند، اما یک ایران برای او به پا خاست.

ضحاک، برای آنکه نشان دهد مهسا را به قتل نرسانده است، قلب ج��انان دیگری را نیز نشانه گرفت، از نیکا و سارینا تا کیان و خدانور، از حمیدرضا و مجیدرضا تا صدها فرزند دیگر ایران.

چهار سال بعد، ملت ایران در مرحله‌ای دیگر از همان مبارزه ایستاده است. مسیری که از خیزش‌های پیشین گذشت، امروز به انقلاب شکوهمند شیر و خورشید رسیده است، جایی که مبارزات ملت ایران، با همه تجربه‌ها و هزینه‌هایی که پشت سر گذاشته، در یک هدف ملی به هم پیوند خورده است: بازپس‌گیری ایران از رژیم تبهکاری که نزدیک به نیم قرن است میهن‌مان را به گروگان گرفته است.

این همبستگی ملی یک‌شبه به دست نیامده است. پشت آن، راهی طولانی، دشوار و پرهزینه قرار دارد، راهی که م��ت ایران از گردهمایی پرشکوه روز کوروش در آبان ۱۳۹۵ آغاز کرد و در دی ۱۳۹۶، آبان ۱۳۹۸ و خیزش‌های ۱۴۰۱ و ۱۴۰۴ به آن تجربه و بلوغ بیشتری بخشید، خیزش‌هایی که هر یک بخشی از ستون‌های انقلاب ملی ایران را شکل داده‌اند.

هر جان فداشده، مسئولیتی بر دوش ما گذاشت؛ و هر فراز و فرود، ملت ایران را برای گام بعدی آماده‌تر کرد. تا امروز که ایرانیان، یک‌صدا و زیر پرچم ملی خود، برای بازپس‌گیری ایران ایستاده‌اند.

یاد مهسا امینی و همه زنان و مردان شجاعی که جان خود را در راه آزادی ایران فدا کردند، برای همیشه در حافظه ملت ایران جاودانه خواهد ماند.

ما راه آنان را تا آزادی و بازپس‌گیری ایران ادامه خواهیم داد.

بیست‌وپنج سال پیش، چند روز پس از حمله تروریستی ۱۱ سپتامبر، ایرانیان در خیابان‌های تهران برای قربانیان آمریکایی شمع روشن کردند؛ در مقابل چشمان نیروهای امنیتی رژیم که همین امروز نیز مردم ایران را سرکوب می‌کنند.

در روزهایی که شبکه‌های خبری جهان، تصاویر تکان‌دهنده‌ای از شادی و پایکوبی در بخش‌هایی از خاورمیانه پخش می‌کردند، مردم ایران، در همدردی و همبستگی انسانی با مردم آمریکا، چهره‌ای متفاوت از این منطقه به جهان نشان دادند. رژیم شعار «مرگ» سر می‌داد؛ مردم ما نور هدیه می‌کردند.

ملت‌های ایران و آمری��ا هرگز دشمن یکدیگر نبوده‌اند. ما یک دشمن مشترک داریم: افراط‌گرایی اسلامی که ۲٬۹۷۷ انسان بی‌گناه را در ۱۱ سپتامبر ۲۰۰۱ به قتل رساند و ۴۷ سال است کشور من را به گروگان گرفته است. ما همچنین یک ارزش بنیادین مشترک داریم: آزادی. آزادی سنگ‌بنای آمریکاست و همان چیزی است که ما ایرانیان امروز برای آن مبارزه می‌کنیم.

Twenty-five years ago, in the days after 9/11, Iranians filled Tehran's squares with candles for the American dead, watched by the same security forces that still oppress them today.

While global news networks were broadcasting shocking footage of celebrations in the Middle East region, the people of Iran stood as a profound, solitary exception of human empathy for Americans. The regime chanted death. Our people offered light. Iranians and Americans have never been enemies. We share one common enemy: the Islamic fanaticism that murdered the 2,977, and that has held my country hostage for 47 years. We also share a fundamental common value: liberty. Liberty is the cornerstone on which America is built and what Iranians are fighting for today.

هم‌میهنان،

جمهوری اسلامی بار دیگر با افزایش قیمت بنزین، هزینه بی‌کفایتی، فساد و جنگ‌افروزی خود را بر دوش مردم ایران گذاشت.

همان‌گونه که در پیام ۳۱ مرداد گفتم، گران کردن سوخت در شرایطی که مردم زیر فشار سنگین اقتصادی قرار دارند، اقدامی ظالمانه و خیانت به ملت ایران است.

به رژیم ضحاکی و رهبر مفقودش می‌گویم: فقر و فشار اقتصادی که بر مردم ایران تحمیل کرده‌اید، نتیجه مستقیم سیاست‌های ویرانگر شماست. منابع کشور متعلق به مردم ایران است، نه برای پر کردن جیب مافیاها و نه برای تأمین مالی تروریسم و جنگ‌افروزی. اموال غارت‌شده ملت را بازگردانید و حمایت از تروریست‌ها را قطع کنید.

گمان نکنید با کشتار ده‌ها هزار میهن‌پرست توانسته‌اید اراده ملت را درهم بشکنید. آتش خشم و اعتراض مردم خاموش نشده است. ملتی که برای آزادی، رفاه و آینده‌ای بهتر ایستاده است، در برابر سرکوب، فساد، بی‌کفایتی و تحمیل فقر سکوت نخواهد کرد.
