Solo is easily a top tier Star Wars movie for me, idc. The pacing is phenomenal, the music rips, the action is slick, and it adds so much cool stuff to the underworld side of Star Wars. It also proves that recasting WORKS; Alden and Donald are SO DANG GOOD as Han and Lando
To everyone who keeps calling Japan a “dying country”:
Yes, I’ve seen the birth rate charts.
We all have.
Japan has a serious demographic problem. Nobody is pretending otherwise.
But if this is what a “dying country” looks like, it’s a strange kind of dying.
The trains still show up when they’re supposed to.
You can walk blocks without seeing a public trash can, and somehow the streets still aren’t covered in garbage.
Lose your wallet and there’s a decent chance you’ll get it back with the cash still inside.
At 6 in the morning, you’ll see an 80-year-old sweeping the steps of a local shrine.
Nobody hired him.
Nobody is filming him.
He’s not doing it for applause.
He does it because this is his neighborhood.
His community.
His home.
A country doesn’t die just because fewer babies are being born.
It starts dying when people stop giving a damn about the place they live.
So before you write Japan’s obituary from a birth-rate graph, come visit.
Then tell me which country looks more alive.
Life is fucking electric bro. Don’t fall for the doomer shit. Thats for losers and normies scared of their own shadows. Walk around like God sent you and smile at everyone you see. Spread light and abundance. Build things and take chances. This is the best time in history!
Resellers are ruining every hobby right now and we need to find ways to stop it. They make a few quid and ruin it for the people that actually want to enjoy the hobby. They'll try and convince you they're providing a service. Nope, you're ruining it for actual fans for a few quid
Jaylen Brown was the third overall pick in 2016 and was booed on draft night. He was benched during the Kyrie/Hayward era, and signed a contract extension nobody believed he deserved. He proceeded to improve every. single. season. and eventually help the Celtics raise Banner 18, all while doing absolutely NOTHING wrong.
Never controversial. Never an issue off the court. He always played hard and never complained. Boston just lost one of the greatest players to wear a Celtics jersey. It’s a guarantee his jersey will be hanging in the rafters one day.
I was going to wait a few days before publishing this, but alas.
Jaylen Brown means so much more to the city of Boston than most will realize, and I had a front-row seat to it for the past 3 years:

I lived through Billups, Joe Johnson, Antoine, Al Jefferson, Paul Pierce, KG, Avery Bradley, Rondo, Isaiah, Smart, Rob, Jrue, KP etc being traded
The Jaylen Brown trade might be the toughest of them all
Going to get into the basketball side of all this shortly, but before that:
Jaylen Brown embraced this city & community in a way few pro athletes have. The youth in this city will never forget it. There's a legacy/impact here that is so much deeper than basketball.
@FCHWPO Thank you, CHAMPION. I’m sorry it ends like this. As a fan, I wanted you to ‘go to war’ for Boston for your entire career. I’m utterly heartbroken
The "Server Offline" text for the final Destiny 2 update:
"We built a universe. Guardians like you filled it with meaning. Thank you from all of us on Destiny 2."
