Mahalagang ang taumbayan ay kasama, ang mga people’s organizations ay kasama sa pagbusisi dahil sa transparency. Hindi dapat nating ginagawang, tawag dito, ‘opaque’ o hindi makikita ang mga pangyayari o ang mga desisyon.

Kailangang masusing busisiin ng Senado ang panukalang pambansang budget upang matiyak na mapupunta ang pera ng taumbayan sa mga programa at serbisyong tumutugon sa pangangailangan ng ordinaryong Pilipino, kabilang ang seguridad sa pagkain, agrikultura, edukasyon, kalusugan, at kahandaan sa sakuna.

Partikular nating tututukan ang mga kondisyon bago mailabas ang unprogrammed appropriations at ang mga layuning maaari lamang paggastusan ng mga pondong ito.

Magsisilbing panimulang batayan ng ating pagbusisi ang desisyon ng Korte Suprema na nagdeklara bilang labag sa Konstitusyon ng ilang unprogrammed appropriations sa mga budget para sa 2024 at 2025.

Dapat ding i-livestream ang mga pagdinig ng bicameral conference committee, kung saan pinagkakasundo ng mga miyembro ng Senado at Kamara ang kani-kanilang bersyon ng 2027 national budget, gaya ng ginawa noong nakaraang taon.

Dapat isapubliko ang mga napagkasunduan sa mga closed-door meeting upang matiyak ang transparency at pananagutan sa buong proseso ng pagbuo at pag-apruba ng pambansang budget.
