الرئيس جوزاف عون استقبل رئيس مجلس إدارة مرفأ طرابلس الجديد السيد اسكندر بندلي وأعضاء المجلس، حيث جرى عرض واقع المرفأ والتحديات التي يواجهها.

وأشار بندلي إلى أنّ المجلس يعمل على إعداد خطة استراتيجية لتحويل مرفأ طرابلس إلى أحد أبرز المرافئ في الشرق الأوسط.

ورحّب الرئيس عون بالوفد، متمنيًا للمجلس الجديد التوفيق في مهامه، ومؤكدًا ضرورة استعادة مرفأ طرابلس دوره الاستراتيجي في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني.

📌Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, held a meeting in his office today with the newly appointed Chairman of Tripoli Port Authority, Iskandar Bendali, and the newly formed board, in the presence of Port Director, Ahmad Tamer.

🔹The meeting reviewed the council’s work program for the upcoming period and discussed ways to advance the port’s development in line with the Ministry’s overall strategy, while strengthening integration among Lebanese ports.

🔹Minister Rasamny emphasized the need to “set a strategic vision for the next five years and develop a practical action plan to achieve sustainable growth for the port, reinforce its role as a key economic and commercial hub, and adopt modern management practices based on transparency, good governance, and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance performance and efficiency.”
