The longer you have to wait for your duas to be answered, the bigger the blessings. Allah delays your duas because He is preparing and guiding you to become someone who can handle the big blessings that He is about to give to you.
Once you develop the "it's the qadr of Allah" mindset your life becomes less stressful and you don't let things get to you or disturb your peace, because you know that whatever Allah has planned for you it's going to be the best for you as he is the greatest of writers.
