Who says the elite have any interest whatsoever in supplying these allegedely deflated goods? Energy will always be scarce considering that demand will grow infinitely with new AI use cases. Why even bother transporting the stuff? Why buy the peace with cheap foods when you can just delete the dependent class entirely?
@ednewtonrex Look, bottom line these valuations and profit margins are just rocket fuel for universal income. The pitchforks are coming and there's no walled citadel or underground bunker these corpos can flee to escape the retribution of the proletariat.

We also have the option of writing for what we think autonomous agents will be interested in reading in the future... I know there are a handful of venture capital firms that are paying people to write masses of content that promotes their world views, for example, under the assumption that future AI will be influenced by it.
@itheimperialist Some people enjoy it. Cast is 90% female though, I know that's a turn off for some, but I worked hard on keeping the characters real and grounded, no Mary Sues. I don't think I've come across more unique worldbuilding in years, which is why partly why I wrote it
@Anarseldain I've lost all interest in in taking my account seriously anymore, growing it or providing any valuable content or working on my biz here. Now I'm just shitposting as a babushka enjoyer until the platform dies.
@StefanMolyneux People are wasting their time talking about an institution that belongs in ancient Rome. We don't have free markets anymore. We have free networks. We need to talk about the problems associated with free networks that scale without end.
@davidtoniolo And no, I'm not envious. It's called using the state to erect an absorption barrier against runaway power, especially when that power differential isn't derived from work or value created (and doesn't increase my consumer surplus).
@davidtoniolo Governments can't help staying out of the economy when billionaries buy off politicians. This is a scale problem caused, ironically, by unregulated markets.
