Really, most of you are coming from a position of "Marx gave me permission to be Islamophobic" and barely understand as much as the median Fox viewer about the religion.
The first demonstration I ever attended, back in 2001, was a half-joke protest against Tel Aviv's straight, ultra-commercial version of the Pride Parade - the "Love Parade." To counter that, we marched behind a banner that read: "The Hate Parade."
We were about a dozen anarchist punk teenagers carrying signs against capitalism and what we saw as fake, commercialized "culture." When we stepped in front of the massive Love Parade, in a bold yet somewhat pathetic attempt to block it, dozens of policemen charged at us and beat us badly, while the crowd loudly encouraged them.
I always found it so fitting how Israelis, supposedly celebrating "love", were cheering on cops beating up "leftist" children. In the name of love.

In the photo, taken by the Love Parade's commercial photographer, I can be seen on the right.
@RashmanTheHorse same people were also harrasing gazan journalists accusing them of being anti black while biden was murdering them all. i dont know where the rightousness comes from.
