72 hours ago, @GovRonDeSantis and I stood at the Escambia County EOC urging Floridians in the path of #Isaias to evacuate or hunker down.
Since then, I’ve traveled across the Panhandle assessing damage, meeting with local officials, and standing with Floridians facing the long road to recovery.
To our law enforcement officers, emergency managers, linemen, and local leaders: Thank you for your tireless work. I’m proud of how Florida has responded, together—and we will keep working until our communities recover.
Great to visit with some Florida heroes at the @FlaglerSheriff’s Office today!
Thank you, Sheriff Rick Staly, for all you do to protect your community.
Florida is THE most pro-law-enforcement state in the nation!
Florida is more than beaches and amusement parks – it’s a national security powerhouse.
From NAS Jacksonville and Blount Island to Eglin, Tyndall, MacDill, Camp Blanding and Cape Canaveral, Florida’s military installations are critical to our nation’s defense.
And it’s not just the bases. It’s the military families, skilled workforce, shipbuilders, engineers, businesses and communities that support them.
I’m proud to fight in the Senate to strengthen Florida’s military installations and the defense industry that supports them.

They weren’t “mostly peaceful protests” in America, and these are not inconvenient “student strikes” in France.
Call them what they are: communist riots.

Let's finish it at home and bring the AL pennant back to Tampa Bay! ⚾
Happy to share we have garnered nearly every member of the Florida Congressional Delegation’s support for our effort urging the President to approve @GovRonDeSantis’ major emergency disaster declaration.
I will continue working closely with state and federal officials to ensure disaster assistance gets to those in need as quickly as possible following Isaias.

It’s an honor to present Plant City Police Sgt. Billy Harvester with a Florida’s Finest Award.
Sgt. Harvester’s quick thinking and preparedness while responding to a call saved a man’s life.
Drug dealers are using social media to target our kids. As a mom, I take that seriously.
That’s why I’m cosponsoring the No Fentanyl on Social Media Act to help identify and shut down these dangerous avenues.
Our kids deserve to be safe—online and at home.

66 YEARS AGO, FLORIDA HELPED LAUNCH AMERICA’S JOURNEY TO THE STARS. 🚀🇺🇸
On October 11, 1958, just 10 days after NASA opened its doors, Pioneer 1 lifted off from Cape Canaveral—the first spacecraft launched under NASA’s management.
From Pioneer 1 to Artemis, Florida has been at the heart of America’s journey into space—and I’m working to keep our state at the center of what comes next.
Florida has been America’s launchpad to the stars. Let’s keep reaching higher. 🚀🌴🇺🇸
