Zero 10 @ArtBasel is about bringing the (very online) contemporary digital art scene to a wider, physically located audience.
As embodied beings, we need embodied experiences to fully understand something.
It was a natural fit to take a step towards Botto's embodiment there

Chasing light through abandoned corridors in Paphos, Cyprus.
We've been commissioned by a museum to create a 1/1 piece from this forgotten villa.
Weathered stone, wild vines breaking through the walls, and amazing archways that frame the Mediterranean perfectly.
Often the best locations are the ones nobody knows about.

Final day of #EXPOS3D. I’ve never been prouder or more inspired. Seeing people connect so deeply with the art, the tech & the story has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who came. This was only the beta. Big plans ahead as EXPOS3D prepares to tour the world. 🌎

Preparing a 85” print of Spring Sonata.
Framed with museum glass.
This piece is going into the private collection of a contemporary art collector in NYC.
They own works by some of the biggest names in contemporary art, so it’s very exciting to have this piece displayed in their home.

Heading to Switzerland this weekend to give two presentations about art on the blockchain.
I cover the history of the medium, and how I work within it.
Excited to showcase how digital art is alive, innovative and full of potential!
The audience will mainly consist of investors and those familiar with the 'traditional art' world.
One of the two private events where I'll be speaking is at the stunning Foundation Opale Auditorium in the Swiss Alps.
Love the idea on a concept level, but concretely, how would/could it materialize in a way that is different than editions ?
Fractionalization of pieces ownership makes sense and already exist for physical work. For digital-only pieces, i feel its also already adressed through editions, multi-sigs, dao funds, art funds, etc...
Its a great topic of discussion imho, i.e. "are digital pieces editions (1/x) essentially fractionalized 1/1's ?"
Looping in a few brilliant brains from this space who might enjoy the discussion : @pablorfraile@co1born@FlannelCapital@RogerDickerman@scrptdfntsy
And going deeper and very conceptual here: "can it be considered that 1/1/x are essentially fractionalized algorithms ownership?" @ArtOnBlockchain
Wouldn't be the same without @FKA787, happy weekend everyone 😎
