A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family.
Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones.
I hope you’ll join me.
What an amazing feeling to be at Independence Hall in Philly for a ceremonial joint session of Congress – 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence!
62 years ago today, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed segregation and other forms of racial discrimination, was signed into law.
While we celebrate the progress we’ve made, it’s important to remember that the fight for equality is ongoing. There’s no better time than America’s 250th to reflect on what comes next.
#OnThisDay, The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was signed into law. The law gave the federal government a new role in desegregating schools and other public facilities. #ANationsStory#APeoplesJourney
I met with Agudath Israel of New Jersey in Lakewood this week to learn about their Zahav program that supports patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and the Yahalom program that supports families and children with special needs.
The work they are doing is critical. From helping families navigate resources to building community for people in need, they are an inspiring reminder that we are never alone.

Today, I visited Synagogue Beth Am Shalom in Lakewood, NJ, to meet with the Jewish Federation of Ocean County and hear from local Jewish leaders about the impact antisemitism is having on their temples and communities.
I heard about the need to invest in further security to ensure every community member can practice their faith without fear for their safety. It's why it’s so important to increase funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.
We must meet this moment head on and ensure that hate has no home in New Jersey.
Honored that my team joined today's inauguration and organization meeting of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and the City Council.
As the Mayor said, "it's time to govern" and bring "bolder steps and larger ideas."
I look forward to working with him and the Council to do that very thing for Newark.
It was great to join the @AmerLeadInt to talk about how we can move our country from this moment of anxiety to one of genuine opportunity where we lower costs, secure supply chains, and help government work FOR you. Read more about this resiliency framework here: https://t.co/HTeyIC73MP
Did you know that New Jersey is known as the Crossroads of the American Revolution?
As we commemorate America's 250th anniversary, check out these 5 New Jersey towns that played an important role in founding of our nation.
Today's decision by the Supreme Court will continue to dilute the voice of the people and make it easier for our elections to be bought by the wealthy and well-connected.
We must stand up against this kind of money in politics. More here ⬇️
The National Republican Senatorial Committee v. FEC is a case currently before the Supreme Court about the influence billionaires have on our elections.
Here's what you need to know.
No President, including Donald Trump, has the power to unilaterally change our constitution and strip away the birthright citizenship defined within it.
Today's decision is not the end of the road.
My parents came to this country 50 years ago in awe of what America stood for. Stories like our family’s are what makes our country a beacon of hope and opportunity, and not something a single president’s Executive Order should ever be able to override.
Trump’s bullying cost New Jerseyans time, jobs, and money. And now we’re right back where we started. This ruling tells us what we already know: Trump’s mob boss tactics are illegal and a complete waste of time.
A federal judge has permanently blocked the Trump administration from withholding funds from a $16 billion rail tunnel project that would connect New York and New Jersey under the Hudson River https://t.co/eiLhhQQFRK
