Today we wired SMS to a real iMessage line: signed webhooks, a new parser for the provider's payload, a Solana rent bug caught before it hit anyone, and a privacy fix so the bot never shows your number back. Test log #2 is up.

Tomorrow's update: the line fund.

Test log #2: wiring SMS to a real iMessage line.

what we built today:
an inbound webhook that takes a text from the line, verifies it, runs it through the engine and replies from the same number.

what we tested, and what happened:

01 · signed delivery
a message signed with HMAC-SHA256 (timestamp + raw body, 5-minute replay window) hits the webhook → verified → JOIN creates a real devnet wallet.

02 · forged delivery
same message, fake signature → 404. nothing runs. the endpoint also needs a secret URL token, so it's two locks.

03 · provider payload
the line provider moved to a new payload format (sender, contact, channel, group). our parser was reading the old fields and would have dropped real texts silently. caught in testing, rewritten, verified.

04 · rent-exempt edge case
a send that leaves a wallet holding more than 0 but less than 890,880 lamports gets rejected by Solana. we were letting it reach the chain and fail. now the engine catches it before signing and tells you the max you can send.

05 · full send on devnet
SEND $0.50 TO MOM → PIN → landed, claimed, balance exact to the lamport. solscan: 2pPP…LH33

06 · privacy
the JOIN reply used to print the texter's own number back. removed. the bot never echoes your number, and the database only stores it as a keyed hash.

07 · real iPhone → trial line
iMessage says Delivered, but the provider's free trial runs on a shared device that drops texts from new numbers before they reach us. that's the trial's limit, not the engine.

next: one outbound-first test on the trial to prove the full round trip on a real iPhone, then the dedicated line.

Funds don't vanish. The wallet key is held encrypted, so a forgotten PIN locks payments, not the money.

Self-serve PIN reset isn't built yet. Non-custodial option at the moment: EXPORT your key into Phantom while you know your PIN, then you hold it yourself.
