“My child has additional needs” translated in to parent reality equals “I have a never ending pile of additional paperwork” 🙄😩

The comments about the man who lost his life are vile
I urge everyone to choose kindness over cruelty & to remember that our words can cause real hurt We may not all understand someone else's experience but we can all choose to show compassion respect & empathy
Exhaustion can look normal. A family carer can be deeply exhausted and still look completely normal. They can shower, get dressed, go to work, laugh, handle the day & still feel like they have nothing left. Not all exhaustion looks like falling apart.
If the gen public found out about the sheer scale of financial ruin that unpaid carers and our disabled children/family members face due to lack of state provision, it would blow the post office scandal out of the water.

Mums battle for SEND school places “they don't answer your phone calls anymore, they don't answer your emails anymore". This is far from unusual and always unacceptable. Council behaviour is the SEND reform that’s actually needed. https://t.co/5guw1pPa96
The petition to protect SEND legal rights is at number 3 out of over 2000 government petitions. Will you help to save disabled children’s rights in England by signing and sharing? Children can sign too.

It gets engagement because it induces anger. 90% of content these days is shit like this. I think the algorithms produces a see of useless mediocirty intended to get us vulnerable and emotional, so they can easily grab your attention to maximize visibility for government/politifcal narratives and advertisers. It's a manipulation/influence machine and we are the products.
Despite what the toxic online rhetoric would have you believe, new research shows almost half the British public support greater spending on disability benefits. Only 7% said it should be decreased.
The Government should take note. https://t.co/UHdI36FOeS
