What a fucking life led. Truly. Back when the Met stormed into the RVT for it being a gay bar, all wearing rubber gloves to “protect” themselves during the HIV crisis, Paul O’Grady was on stage as Lily and immediately quipped “Looks like we have help with the washing up!” Iconic.
Fantastic workshop on Vivaldi’s Gloria led by @gregbatsleer yesterday. It was wonderful to perform with @HuddsChoral, @HcsVoices & meet new singers. A magnificent sound! Bar Maroc & Out&Loud’s Queer open mic @Hudd_Lit_Fest was a fabulously apt way to end a Baroque-inspired day 🔥
@CathyTurner16 @DrJoGrady Not all members are on the USS pension scheme. The wording of that e-ballot was appalling. The first pause happened without consultation throwing many straight back into teaching on the Monday. These last few days have been so unbelievably stressful and upsetting.
Unpaused. Unfazed. Here again 💕 There is power in a union. Solidarity to all striking workers today, particularly our friends at LGI👇 Doctors supporting doctors #ucurising@leedsbeckettucu

Feeling so lucky and grateful that we have been awarded this funding by @TNLComFund for my wonderful Huddersfield Choral Society Voices Choir! This money will allow us to hold workshops, expand our music library and allow the choir to blossom and grow from strength to strength!
