Stunning Jobs Report. Thank you, Joe !

[Rand Hagenstein @RandHagenstein]

@SenJohnnyEllis Once upon a time I ran into Pres. Carter in the SFO airport. I said that, as a long-time Alaskan, I greatly enjoy the legacy he created w ANILCA. He replied in a soft Southern drawl, "Not all of your neighbors were quite as enamored at the time, if I recall."

[Johnny Ellis @SenJohnnyEllis]

@RandHagenstein Great story, Rand. I have similar. In elevator in Cannon Bldg where I interned for CA congressman Jim lloyd. 1980. Only two occupants. Me and Rep Mo Udall a sponsor of ANILCA. I extended my hand to shake his, saying. Congressman. I'm from Alaska. He looks back in fear

Happy Birthday Pres Jimmy Carter. 97 years young. Many Alaskans protested creation of new national parks. I attended White House signing of AK National Interest Lands Conservation Act. Parks are a huge Economoic engine and net gain for Alaska. Thank you, Mr President !

Hey Anchorage news reporters. The public richly deserves to know what happened between former Police Chief McCoy & Mayor Bronson that caused McCoy's abrupt departure. Did Bronson make inappropriate requests ? Please dig deep !

[Johnny Ellis @SenJohnnyEllis]

Am I last to hear this hot rumor ?! Dunleavy will dump Kevin Meyer and pick Tara Sweeney to be his Light Gov. Strange things are done. Under the Midnight Sun. And especially under Ranked Choice Voting !

[Johnny Ellis @SenJohnnyEllis]

Thank you, Congressional Democrats. My late mother. RIP. Was a severe diabetic and depended on expensive insulin to survive. Paid for by US taxpayers into Tricare and my Air Force fathers health coverage. Build Back Better bill allows feds to negotiate lower prescription drugs.

[Johnny Ellis @SenJohnnyEllis]

Wow. Dems get s**t done, son. Affordable child Care. Voluntary Pre-K. Child tax credits. Paid Family Leave. Better Medicare & Medicaid & Obamacare 4 millions. Climate action. Took too long but worth it. Multigenerational & transformational. A better America. A more perfect Union

[Johnny Ellis @SenJohnnyEllis]

Gigantic victory 4 Democrats. $ 1.2 Trillion 4 Infrastructure. Millions of family wage union jobs. It took too long but now we rebuild USA. Masterful leadership by Speaker Pelosi. Pres Biden will sign ASAP. Huge celebration. Message. Democrats Deliver. Big Time. Major League !

[Jesse Kiehl @JesseKiehl]

This is really troubling. Foster children face too many barriers already. Alaska law hasn’t changed on this, so why has @GovDunleavy’s policy?
