David Ortiz is one of the greatest clutch performers in history. OTD in 2004 he started Boston’s epic run to the World Series with a Division Series-clinching walk-off home run.

The Dominican-born Ortiz went on to lead the Red Sox to 3 World Series titles, batting a combined .455 in the Fall Classic. He was named MVP of the 2004 ALCS and the 2013 World Series.

Ortiz is 17th all time with 541 career home runs and was a 10-time All-Star. He was the 2011 Roberto Clemente Award winner and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2022. #HHM
