Wow, the incredible winds and storms that moved through western MN and our state last night were astonishing to witness, but they also left significant damage. My thoughts are with those affected as cleanup begins. Grateful for the first responders and crews already hard at work.
The photos don’t lie. At Rochester’s 1500 Building, there is a scandalous alliance, once again right here in Minnesota. With all these prominent DFL signs plastered on the front of the same building, it is no wonder that Democrat leaders are not cracking down on fraud in MN!
Today on this National Day of Prayer, Minnesotans from across our state gathered at the Capitol in united prayer. I invite you to join me in lifting up our neighbors, our state, and our nation in prayer. May God bless America!
Just got back from my first-ever autonomous vehicle experience! I was basically able to “drive,” while the car took off on its own around the State Capitol and residential streets in St. Paul. I’ll share more about my experience soon, so stay tuned!
I recently attended the first-ever Minnesota Automated Vehicle Day at the Capitol! Autonomous vehicles are an emerging technology, and it’s important for Minnesota to stay ahead of the curve to ensure safety while also welcoming opportunities for those who may benefit.
This Easter season, we are reminded of the importance of helping those in need. I recently had the opportunity to visit Apostolic Christian HarvestCall’s storehouse near Hancock. They provide edible beans to area food shelves and nonprofits that serve people experiencing hunger.
While nearly every DFL legislator and Governor Walz is willfully blind to this brazen violation of protected spaces in female sports on the court, in the field, and in the locker room, this federal court case has been long in the making. This patently unfair policy needs to end!
Easter eggs, white eggs, or brown eggs—I’m working to ‘eggxpand’ access to fresh eggs at MN food shelves. It’s a small fix with a big impact, allowing eggs past their quality assurance date to be donated, supporting hungry families and cutting food waste. What an eggcellent idea!
Minnesota’s fraud problems continue to draw national attention. A recent Legislative Auditor report found the Walz DHS administration failed to protect taxpayer dollars and ignored allegations of kickbacks. We will keep digging until this is fully addressed!
Great opportunity earlier this week to meet with Congressman Tom Emmer to discuss the SAVE America Act and the importance of strengthening election security for our state and county.
On National Ag Day, I was honored to join the Minnesota Farm Bureau for their Day on the Hill and speak at their rally. I was grateful to stand alongside farmers, agricultural leaders, and advocates who keep our farms and rural communities strong.
Happy #NationalAgDay! A heartfelt thank you to Minnesota’s farmers and farm families for the dedication and hard work that feed our state, our country, and the world. Let’s continue celebrating agriculture and working to expand opportunities across the industry. #AgDay26
Minnesota's house is on fire 🔥, and the fraud crisis is burning up billions of taxpayer dollars. Yet Democrats are still aloof to the crisis. Senate Republicans fought to hold DHS leadership and Walz accountable, but every Democrat refused.
Minnesotans want immediate action on the SAVE America Act! I’m leading the charge to make Minnesota’s voice heard in Washington and push for action. Together with 73 state senators and representatives, we sent a letter to President Trump and Leader Thune urging immediate passage.
Today, I chaired the Senate Agriculture Committe at @umncrookston. We heard from potato, sugar beet, wheat, corn, and soy bean farmers about their harvest struggles. For many, this is one of the worst harvests in memory. #mnleg
Great day chairing the Ag. Committee in Clearwater. Heard from farmers about ongoing harvest issues. But, good progress in rural broadband expansion and farmer mental health services. Both were top priorities of mine in the Senate. Now, on to Crookston! #mnleg
