I was at Mwanga II Court today, continuing my coverage of the Uganda vs. Reagan Ssentongo and Others case whom Pastor Kayanja is the complainant, which I have followed closely for the past 60days or so.
Reagan Ssentongo, the prime accused in the case, was on the witness stand being examined by his defence. During his testimony, he made several allegations against Pastor Robert Kayanja and some of his allies and one of his claims was that Pastor Kayanja brought American preacher Dr. Mike Murdock to Uganda and that Dr. Murdock allegedly oriented or taught Reagan Ssentongo about LGBTQ issues.
However, the timeline appears impossible to reconcile with that account. Dr. Mike Murdock visited Uganda in November 2015 for the Triple Blessing Conference and returned in November 2016 for the 77 Days of Glory revival meetings. Yet Ssentongo only came to Miracle Centre on 23 Feb 2017, later went for training at Kabalye between 2017 and March 2018, and only went to the farm in May 2019.
Based on these dates, his account is very inconsistent with the documented timeline and the State will have the opportunity to cross-examine him come 9th July 2026, where his testimony is expected to be tested against the evidence before court.
If you scrutinize enough, you could really see that these allegations are utterly baseless and appear to be part of a deliberate smear campaign designed to damage Pastor Robert Kayanja’s name and reputation.

PASTOR ROBERT KAYANJA ADVANCES AFRICA'S DEVELOPMENT AT HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL - ROOSEVELT AFRICA TRAIL.
Pastor Robert Kayanja featured at the Harvard Business School Africa Business Conference, contributing to the global conversation on "Owning Africa's Agency" with a strong focus on the Roosevelt Africa Trail. The conference remains one of Harvard's premier global convenings, bringing together over 1,000 leaders across government, business, academia, and the diaspora to shape Africa's economic future.
At the heart of the discussion was the Roosevelt Africa Trail—a multi-country platform transforming the historic 1909-1910 expedition of Theodore Roosevelt into a modern engine for trade, tourism, conservation, and cultural exchange between Africa and the United States. Uganda was strongly represented, with @RobinahNabbanja delivering a historic closing keynote, and Dr. Monica Musenero highlighting Uganda's transition from potential to execution.
In the spirit of cross-continental development, Pastor Robert emphasized the Roosevelt Africa Trail as a timely platform for regional integration, strengthened U.S.-Africa relations, and scalable commercial growth. As America approaches its 250th anniversary, this moment reinforces a powerful idea: when structured, Africa's story can drive global markets. Gold Meadows Farm in Kiryadongo happens to be along the path of the original expedition and a proposed keynote along the trail.

It's just one plastic bottle, one bag, one
straw. But imagine that same thought echoed by billions.
Suddenly, it's not just one — it's mountains of plastic choking our oceans, filling our landfills, and entering our food chain.
