According to the victim: Our family is living in constant fear, and we are exhausted.

On 13 July 2024, our grandfather was brutally murdered. Then, on 10 December 2025, our uncle was shot multiple times and killed. We buried him while still in shock, still trying to understand how so much pain could happen so quickly.

Before we could even mourn, another uncle was shot on 28 December 2025, in the same month and at the same home. By some miracle, he survived, but the vehicle was destroyed and written off.

These attacks happened in front of us. We saw it. We heard the gunshots. We live with that trauma every single day. We are not safe. We are always running, always terrified, always wondering who will be next.

We opened cases. We reported everything.

But we have seen no progress. No justice. No protection.

To the South African Police Service, we are begging you: please intervene, please investigate, please protect our family before we lose another person we love.

We deserve safety. We deserve answers. We deserve justice.
