Sophie Cunningham doesn’t need the WNBA nearly as much as the WNBA needs Sophie Cunningham.
Major endorsements. Podcasts. Her own media company. Apparel and lifestyle brands. Equity deals. Broadcasting. She could build an empire outside basketball that dwarfs what she makes playing it.
So anyone thinking pushing Sophie out of the league would somehow destroy her career is missing the bigger picture.
Keep building that brand and ten years from now, she might not need a roster spot.
She might be buying the team.
Happy Birthday to @karolineleavitt! 🇺🇸
Wishing an incredible day to a strong, fearless woman who loves her family, stands proudly for her faith, and refuses to apologize for what she believes.
America needs more young people with courage, conviction, and the backbone to stand tall when the pressure comes.
Karoline represents a generation that isn’t afraid to fight for the country we love.
May God bless her and her family with another amazing year ahead.
Happy Birthday, Karoline! 🎂🇺🇸
🏀I WENT BACK AND CHARTED THE FILM. NOW I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION FOR THE WNBA.
I didn’t want opinions. I didn’t want narratives. I wanted to see it possession by possession.
So I rewatched Indiana vs. New York and charted the contact on Caitlin Clark myself.
And I DIDN’T EVEN FINISH THE 4TH QUARTER.
My film chart:
63% of the possessions I tracked with Clark handling the basketball featured what I graded as a hand-check, grab, pull or bump.
54% featured contact I graded as a defensive foul.
I counted 82+ separate instances of illegal contact.
On ONE POSSESSION, I counted 11 separate contacts that could’ve been whistled.
Now here’s the punchline:
Caitlin Clark officially went to the free-throw line FOUR TIMES.
FOUR. 🤣
So somebody at @WNBA needs to explain something to me.
Either New York suddenly assembled the greatest collection of perimeter defenders basketball has ever witnessed…
OR CAITLIN CLARK IS BEING OFFICIATED UNDER A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STANDARD.
Because you cannot pick somebody up 94 feet, face-guard her, chase her through screens, hand-check her, grab her hip, redirect her movement and bump her off her path possession after possession and convince me that almost all of it is legal defense.
At some point, when the SAME PLAYER repeatedly receives this kind of physical treatment without a proportional whistle, people are going to start asking whether this is incompetence…
OR AN AGENDA.
And THAT is the conversation the national media seems terrified to have.
@espn@espnW@WNBA — ROLL THE FILM.
Don’t show me Clark complaining afterward.
Don’t show me her facial expressions.
Don’t debate whether she needs to “control her emotions.”
SHOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HER BEFORE SHE REACTED.
Because after charting this game possession by possession, I’m convinced the biggest Caitlin Clark officiating controversy isn’t the fouls they call.
IT’S THE ABSURD NUMBER THEY DON’T.
🎥 WATCH THE CONTACT. COUNT IT YOURSELF. THEN TELL ME I’M WRONG.

Today I finished a pencil portrait of Marilyn Monroe. ✏️🖤
Before I shared it on X, my mom looked at me and said:
“Honey, don’t post it… people may not like your art. They may judge you because of your skin color and make fun of you.”
Those words hurt. 💔
But I reminded myself: art has no color. Talent has no color. Emotion has no color.
I didn’t draw Marilyn just to capture her face. I tried to capture the sadness, beauty, and story behind her eyes. 🥀
So today, I’m sharing it anyway.
Not for likes. Not for fame.
Just to prove that an artist’s work should be judged by the heart and skill behind every stroke. ❤️✏️

🚨This large crowd of young girls and patriots supporting Sophie Cunningham formed outside the Barclays Center today.
The Democrats made a big mistake demonizing Sophie for simply not wanting men in women's sports.
God bless Sophie.
What did Sophie Cunningham say that was so controversial that it caused protests and led a grown woman to attack 2 teenagers?
She said, “I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men."
We ❤️ you, Sophie. Save Women's Sports.
1 year ago today Iryna Zarutska was brutally murdered on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her family is now filing a lawsuit in order to hold others accountable for the lack of justice for their daughter.
Good. I hope they get millions. I hope laws change. And I hope that someday the murderer gets karma.
Rest in peace Iryna.
Sophie Cunningham is a STAR!
She’s defending women’s sports when almost nobody in the league will.
The WNBA is making a HUGE mistake not supporting real women like her.
Dallas is lit right now!!
Entire sections of fans at the Fever-Wings game are rocking XX-XY shirts and “Protect Women’s Sports” signs.
The WNBA can keep pretending this will blow over.
It won’t.
Respect to every fan in that building standing up for women and biological reality!

My daughter made these and asked me if anyone besides me would think they're cute. She's eleven and hasn't had a single friend invite her to anything in over a year. The girls at school decided she was "weird" last winter and just stopped talking to her completely, like she doesn't exist. She eats lunch alone in the bathroom and comes home asking me what's wrong with her, why nobody likes her, why everything she does is wrong.
She made these little characters from old baseball bats she found in the garage, spent hours painting them while I pretended not to hear her crying. When she finished, she lined them up and said "They look stupid, don't they?" I told her they were adorable and she just looked at me with this completely broken expression and said, "You're my mom. You have to say that. But nobody at school would ever think something I made was good."
I need you all to tell her these are amazing because she won't believe me. She needs to hear from people who aren't obligated to love her that she's talented, that those girls are wrong about her, that being creative and different isn't something to be ashamed of. She's talking about not going back to school after Christmas break, and I'm terrified I'm losing her to this loneliness.
