@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile I think you‘ve mistakenly assumed I’m anti-law enforcement. Quite the opposite, actually. I’m anti-judges that let criminals off too lightly. I’m anti hypocritical laws. I’m against using stigma and a beneficial plant as a way to target those that have committed far worse.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile Yes you’re correct it warrants an arrest with the current law, but it shouldn’t be that way. It’s like saying you can have 2 gay couples but not 500 because then its illegal unless you give the state $1M 1st, then brag about arresting the 500. It demonizes all in the process
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile If criminals aren’t charged w/ all of their crimes, then its a sad world. I didn’t proclaim to be a professional PI but I did find their identities. That should have been enough. Gangs are making it hard for minority businesses to make a living. Focusing on MJ is a waste of time.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile You’re insinuating that this arrest was driven by the desire to get violent gang members off the street or to take what they’re using to finance their crimes. I just proposed a law change fix and said that MJ seizure isn’t just about the gangs and there is bigger fish to fry.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile My office has been burglarized twice by 12+ armed gang members at a time in Bridgeport, followed by cashing our stolen checks. I did my own PI and found some of their identities and sent to detectives. Not one arrest. It’s not about the gangs.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile I would disagree on it being synonymous to most people and your perspective is on the other end. Read the comments/retweets. “Big deal/let him go” is the consensus. We need more focus on getting fentanyl and other drugs off of the street and stopping the violence/robberies.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile The state’s greed is the driving force behind the gang-affiliated criminal financial gains with MJ. They need to make it so legal growers can match the prices of the black market. $1M grower licenses and high sales taxes prevent that from being possible.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile I meant that since I legally obtained mine and I had no choice but to travel, I could also be under the same circumstances if I didn’t use a loophole to transport 2.5 oz at a time. In the end, it ends up at the same destination.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile The treatment of being arrested & charged w/ a felony for transporting legally obtained plant material thats proven to save lives & prevent immense suffering. The law is still against that “5%” group which consists of cancer & pain patients, kids w/ seizures etc.
@JMartFronchroom@PuckinHostile I grew 5lbs legally in one harvest with my MMJ card & the allowed 5 plants per the law. I also moved shortly after. I guess by those standards, I’m also deemed worthy of the same treatment if I didn’t drive it over 2 oz at a time.
