@AmySwearer@Nemesis_wanted why should we care if it was legally "reasonable" in the moment?
Incompetence and stupidity leading to an unnecessary killing is the point. plus the administration refusing to do a real investigation, so we'll never know if it was really reasonable or not.
@patthewwonis@ok_post_guy isnt that mccormick? pretty sure hes voted with trump every single time. and fetterman votes with dems 90+ percent of the time
@AUCNY5845@joshuatheard@RussLatino bro thinks the ICU nurse at the VA hospital is a mastermind mass shooter. Good thing our lord and savior Donald will protect the ice agent and make sure nobody can investigate
@joshuatheard@RussLatino yea man, people out to massacre ice agents definitely would film them on their phone, back up when approached, get pepper sprayed in the face and do nothing. Definity the best way to maximize casualties.
@ManadnocFisher@JessicaLBurbank Saying the government is allowed to do whatever they want and kill whoever they want if citizens protest makes you sound pretty Iranian
@Tiberius444@stellarman22 "putting your arm" on an ice agent while they are attacking you and pepper spraying you in the face means you should get shot. got it.
@almeksikiya @ElizabethleaVos these women have a choice to do this! the military gives you plenty of horrible possibilities of death or mental illness as well. lets disband the army.
@JayGee47505179@Alicoh1 the actual value of many jobs is you destroying your body and taking on risk of death and disfigurement.
most surrogates in america have given birth before and are not in financial distress. We do not allow women in financial distress to be surrogates for this reason.
@Jakey876757@EleanoraStats how are middle class surrogates being coerced into it? the power dynamic doesn't "necessarily" exist. Especially relative to other high risk occupations.
@PookieGaming75@queerBengali@grok is it true that taking a baby away from its "mother" that is a surrogate is "usually very bad for its health?" I'm sure studies have been done on this.
@multip@queerBengali@grok "At the age of 10 years there were no major psychological differences between children born after surrogacy and children born after other types of assisted reproductive technology (ART) or after natural conception."
@jackrabbit1007@clarksonlawson_ I would argue there are plenty of professions that are just as, if not more, dangerous. I think the introduction of new life is the only difference, but I don't see why that should be an issue if nobody is being harmed or coerced.
