@ZacB_MN I liked McMorrow a decent amount, but overall these candidates are very bleh. AES seems the least electable choice, but I hope they'll vote for him. Not getting the vote of Detroit is a pretty bad sign though.

@conduitbiscuit He's pro Ukraine, his policies are alright, could give a fuck less about the Israel larp on social media. I think he'll make a good senator. Michigan is a beautiful place, with beautiful people, I think they made a very poor electability choice, but it must be done.

@conro It sucks, I want the blue wave, but he doesn't seem very electable at all. The people who followed Stevens have very different views than Sayed, quite obviously. That said I hope they make him a senator. It will benefit EVERYONE who voted in this primary to see him succeed.

M4A, Free Education, and UCC, are polled in a slim majority of people being for it. The issue I see is all of it at once, or in a short time span. Took years for the ACA to be respected.

@snitchin_bubs @jolahpolitics I support Mamdani, for better or worse. He's making things work, somewhat creatively, but in one of the single richest parts of the world. You'll hear no argument from me on Cuomo. DSA aren't offering many solutions outside of Mamdani.

@MioNadroun @snitchin_bubs @jolahpolitics I will say I think we can get these numbers to work, but generally speaking everyone would need to be taxed not-so insignificantly higher. Last I saw raising tax rates across the board a few points would cover universal child care. I can afford a few points, especially for kids.

@MioNadroun @snitchin_bubs @jolahpolitics Our national debt is skyrocketing, there isn't money. DoD funding is bipartisan, any thoughts on defunding it are shot down immediately. Tax breaks not so much, but that wouldn't cover it. Tax hikes would be required, and good luck winning on that.

@Knive_45 @_uhhooohhh__ For context: An adult man (not a child) pulled a dog's tail(attached to their vertebrae), in order to move the dog(using force). For example, if someone grabbed your neck, and used force to move you around, that'd be physical abuse.
