You guys film a couple of workers patching one waterline and act like itโs some massive citywide infrastructure project. I visited Chicago for the first time in two years, and my vehicle got absolutely punished by roads it wasnโt used to.
The driving there is out of control. People ride bumpers, swerving down the street, and cut across the wrong side of the street just to pass cars aheadโnearly missing oncoming traffic. Drivers blow through red lights like theyโre green. No wonder hit-and-runs are skyrocketing. Then youโve got people on those rented scooters flying out of side streets and darting across major intersections without even glancing left or right.
Chicago has turned into a real shithole. Iโm genuinely glad Iโm no longer a resident. I guess these investments youโre always speaking of are going into your pockets because they sure as hell ainโt going into the city.
@DesVerney23@OmGwTfBbQ117@bAnthonYsr Did you factor in the manufacturing of Covid by the democrats and the democratic government shutdowns in those numbers? Because as we all know these crisis only came about when Trump became president.
He speaks so highly of the out-of-district school his own kids attend. Shouldnโt they be going to a school in the Austin neighborhood instead?
But letโs talk about the young kid who was killed at the bus stop outside Hyde Park Academy, at 63rd and Stony Island. You know, right by that eyesore of a library theyโre buildingโthe one clearly intended to push those longtime residents out.
@ILAttyGeneral โIf blue states oppose voter ID requirements, why donโt people from red states show up in blue states and vote, since you claim thereโs no need to verify identity or eligibility at the polls?โ
Arrested and released within hours achieves nothingโso your point falls flat.
Youโre calling for people to โhandle things as a collective,โ but I donโt think youโve thought that through. Someone whoโs lost a child will approach it very differently from someone who hasnโt. Youโd better choose your words more carefully when you demand collective action.
