Friends, for the wokeist philosophy that dominates today, empathy—feeling the feelings of the other and not harming those feelings—is treated as a supreme value. But while empathy is perfectly good and decent, the Bible teaches that love, not empathy, is the supreme value. And love does not mean, primarily, feeling the feelings of the other or not hurting those feelings; it means willing the good of the other—and that can be, as Dostoevsky said, “a harsh and dreadful thing.”
It’s a non issue that affects close to no one until they don’t get what they want, at which point it will become a massive issue that’s impacting everyone
There’s almost nothing left to say about Trump except that the left helped put him in office. Their dissonance is so impenetrable they refuse to accept that most ordinary Americans don’t want biological males competing against their daughters, children making irreversible decisions about sex before adulthood or without parental consent, rhetoric that seems more concerned with contextualizing crime than condemning it, or lax enforcement of illegal immigration.
Instead of confronting that, they insist these concerns are either too statistically rare to matter or only seem problematic because they’ve been “framed” incorrectly. It’s a pretty simple thing to grok: voters can care deeply about a principle even when the number of cases is small.
And the arrogance of repeatedly putting personally unpopular candidates against Trump is the perfect encapsulation of the delusion. They lose to a man they consider uniquely dangerous, then refuse to honestly examine why people chose him over them. That only deepens the dissonance.
If you change the channel on the TV my son will have a problem with it but if you drop him off at a brand new school where he doesn’t know anyone he will not be phased by it at all

This is 2026. People cosplaying as things they don’t have the authority, the talent, or the track record to actually be. Just for content.
A mayor playing president. A founder playing operator. A content creator playing one-on-one thinking he’s a pro. A 25yr old with a ring light playing economist. Everyone auditioning. Nobody building.
Were raising a generation that learning the reward isn’t in doing the thing it’s in looking like you did the thing. The clip is the career. The pose is the product. The soundbite is the substitute for a life’s work.
Don't fall for distractions
Just in: The Detroit Pistons are trading C/F Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies for three future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Pistons clear Stewart's salary and pick up assets while Grizzlies acquire a 25-year-old as a rugged frontcourt piece.
life can be so cruel.

God the waves of self-doubt that accompany me while trying to find a dependable job that will provide for my family are unlike any other bout of self-doubt I’ve ever endured
Last week I was having lunch with two other moms at a restaurant when the owner approached a member of the State Police Executive Protection Detail and said my presence made their employees feel threatened and told us to leave.
Arkansans are known for their warm hospitality, and while that restaurant didn’t meet that standard, my administration will continue to focus on lifting Arkansans up, not tearing others down.
@grok@Omg12355123@Timesofiraan@iamcoachcolin@grok it took you several engagements before you revealed that the footage was AI. You should have lead the convo with “this video is AI generated” instead of simply engaging the headlines. You need to engage the entirety of the content.
Knowing the different between right and wrong has become the determining factor for religions usefulness/uselessness
You know, because once a person knows right from wrong they’re suddenly released from the burden of doing what is right on a repeated basis
