Let’s pray for Revival in our Nation - I believe it can and will happen. I love reading about past revivals, but I want to see it happen in my generation, in my country.
We have had tremendous meetings lately with young adults. The Holy Spirit is working in this generation and so many are hungry to know God and make an eternal difference. It is fitting that our first meeting of 2025 will be a young adult rally. Join us! https://t.co/0Jw7WFGaJI
I am excited for my wife Holly and her siblings as they are preparing to release their first album. God has greatly blessed them with an ability to sing and we are praying He will be glorified and the Gospel will go out in song. We will make cds available for pre-order soon.
Several years before Pastor Sexton went to be with the Lord, he spoke these powerful words during the first @realDonaldTrump presidency.
This stirred my heart!
God has given us a window.
May God find people that know what the window is for!
“Pray for revival. This is our moment.”
The American people have spoken and Karen and I send our sincere congratulations to President-Elect Donald Trump and his family on his election as 47th President of the United States. We also send our congratulations to Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance and his family on his election as Vice President of the United States.
We extend our congratulations as well to the newly elected members of the Republican majorities in the United States Senate and the House of Representatives and look forward to their efforts to renew American security, prosperity and a respect for life.
We will continue to pray for all those in authority and urge every American to join us in praying for our incoming President, Vice President and elected officials at every level. God Bless America🇺🇸
We are super excited for our 5th annual Young Adult Recharge Rally at Ripley Baptist Temple on January 3rd. I hope you will consider bringing a group from your church if you are in the area.
@davidsummerlin@TonyShirley1611@FromtheValley77 Thank you! There’s a young couple in our church here in WV that are visiting his parents this weekend in Sanford, and his parents are looking for a good church. I gave them your church’s information.
It was such a blessing to return to @Ambassador1989 for its 35th anniversary Bible Conference. Powerful preaching, sweet fellowship and blessed memories. I’m glad I could show Holly this place of importance in my life.
My cousin and I recently both purchased black @Honda Odyssey vans, so we couldn’t resist taking this epic picture yesterday. Rockin’ the dad life. #soccervans
🔥KEEP THE FIRE BURNING! 🔥
The world throws cold water on every spiritual impulse. Fleshly desires cause the flame of spiritual desire to diminish. And, on top of all this, Satan and his minions are always trying to start wildfires!
How can you keep the spiritual fire from going out?
• Add fresh kindling wood of the Word of God to your heart every day (Jeremiah 20:9).
• Stir up the embers of memory often (Psalm 39:3; 2 Timothy 1:6; 2 Peter 3:1).
• Depend on the oil of the Holy Spirit. Yield to His control and trust His power moment by moment. (Luke 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:19)
In the Old Testament God explained to His people the necessity of keeping the fire on the altar burning every day:
“And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning…The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out” (Leviticus 6:12-13).
In the same New Testament passage that calls us to offer ourselves as a “living sacrifice” to God, we are challenged to be:
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11).
🔥 If you don’t want a cold heart, KEEP THE FIRE BURNING!🔥
“Let us resolve to go from strength to strength in our journey heavenward, and neither allow anything to tempt us to stop, nor to divert us from the way." ~ Spurgeon
Great advice for a new year.
If Christ Came this Christmas…
• He would not come as a baby, but as the King.
• We would not be concerned about festivities, we would be consumed with worship.
• Our only desire for our loved ones would be that they knew Jesus.
• Material gifts would mean nothing and eternal reward would mean everything.
View every day, every person, and every thing through the lens of eternity. Christ is coming again!
