A blast from the past—1996, somehow 30 years ago.

I was learning Photoshop and LightWave 3D while launching a design company called Vinyl Splinter. The 3D logo on this business card took nearly 24 hours to render. Today, Midjourney could create something similar in seconds.

After 25 years as a professional designer and creative director, finding artifacts from the primordial soup of my design career feels surreal.
