Luis Enrique recently said “my dream is to have 20 players who can play anywhere”.
With that in mind I’ve used this quote as inspiration when it comes to United’s transfer window in the summer.
Positions we need to strengthen: LB, CM (x3), LW. ?: LCB, RB & ST

@Pea26855103Easy Do you have hope for 2030, maybe this is a building block? I know the U20s had a good showing at that World Cup. Néiser Villarreal is a talent I really like
Colombia are so hard to read going into the World Cup. I am confident they get through their group but beyond that, they can quite easily go deep into the tournament and surprise a few teams and by equal measure they could lose in the first round. They have all the potential
@montealegre1952 This is the optimism I do like and I can’t disagree with you, because if things come together I can see it. I think I believe things work out when it matters but I’m not confident
Colombia’s play style is very high risk high reward, but if they don’t find their rhythm I think they need to find a way to play against bigger opposition. I do imagine they will. The game against France was an eye opener
Alexander Zverev is one game away from becoming a grand slam champion, & putting an end to those who say he’s the best player to have never won a slam. Cobolli’s highs have been sky high but his lows are as deep as the ocean. You can’t play like that in a final & get away with it

@Ankaman616 It’s Ancelotti amending an error basically. The early plan was a 4-2-4 but that has not looked perfect (the 3 with Paqueta has given them a far better structure) so Ederson will be a much needed body in midfield. Casemiro, Fabinho, Bruno G, Danilo Santos & Paqueta wasn’t enough
Andrey Santos will be overlooked, because he was so close to getting the call up. It is harsh. Vitinho or Vitor Reis, two other names you could’ve used. Matheus Pereira, if you want a midfielder. Kaiki is another, you could’ve brought him along, or even Juba.
Ederson called up for Brazil. Fabinho can deputise as the right back I would assume, Bremer can likely fill in as well as Danilo & Ibañez. Ederson’s callup suggests the midfield 3 is on Ancelotti’s mind, and he wants to add more depth. I think it’s harsh on Andrey Santos though.
Wesley é cortado da Seleção Brasileira e está fora da Copa do Mundo; Ancelotti convoca Éderson, da Atalanta

Nice to see Alex Eala win the Birmingham open. I’m looking forward to seeing how she does at Queens this upcoming week, alongside the likes of Anisimova, Rybakina, Zheng, Jovic & Mboko
@NathanJoyes1 The lack of research a lot of pundits and big broadcasters do is a bit frustrating. It’s not difficult to get in contact with someone who can catch you up with these national teams
