Let’s look at what Medicare has done to rehab reimbursement in the last decade (my entire time as a PT)

We will use “non-facility fees” per the physician fee schedule to set a general baseline.

If your HS or college kid sprained his elbow UCL right now, then let them rest for 4 to 6 weeks. If they have surgery now or in six weeks it won’t matter… Their 2024 season would be over if they had surgery now or in six weeks. Try to rest and ramp them back up. If the pain persists, then collect for Tommy John surgery.
