Congratulations to our two Year 9 ‘Speak Out Challenge West Midlands Finalists’ who performed incredibly well during the Grand Finals at the MAC, Birmingham last night. A huge well done to Sandeep in Y11 also, who was the MC for the entire night!

Year 4 visited Coventry Cathedral as part of their RE learning.There was lots to see and find out about, including finding out about the different areas of the Cathedral and what they mean.They learned about the Coventry blitz and time was spent in a 1940s classroom and kitchen.
Year 7, 8 and 9 were treated to a singing solo artist Irini Mando perform at Eden House. Irini is an urban-pop singer and songwriter based in London. Irini sang some of her hits to the pupils and also engaged in some purposeful discussion on Mental Health and Wellbeing.

This week Year 1 continued using our DT skills to design Christmas cards with a moving part. Look at our wonderful Christmas cards! We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
Year 1 have been learning about the importance of Christmas for Christians. We have also learnt about what an advent calendar is. We designed and created our own snowman advent calendars, using a split pin as a mechanism to turn the carrot nose to count down the days.
Last week we were honoured to have the volunteers from the Waheguru Foundation come to our school to collect the donations provided by our Seva family.

Oh yes we did! On Friday the children had a fantastic time joining in with the pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty,' it was jam packed with songs, dancing, silliness and laughter!
