Willie Bloomquist will be hiring Lipscomb Assistant Coach Johnny Cardenas to join the @ASU_Baseball staff per multiple sources. He is expected to help with the recruiting side of things and the offense.

He joins the Sun Devils after two years at Lipscomb and was the former head coach at SFA where he got 293 wins there.

RJ McKinnie from Seward County put together a strong showing at the P32 JUCO Showcase in Dallas.

McKinnie averaged 12 points per game, showcasing his ability to score, compete, and impact the game against high-level JUCO talent in front of college coaches from across the country.

A productive weekend from a player who continued to make plays and build momentum throughout the event. RJ McKinnie is definitely a name coaches should keep an eye on moving forward.

Right after one of his explosive shooting performances, we caught up with him live courtside during the event.

“My confidence comes from preparation every day with Coach Austin Downing.”

Williams spoke on the culture at Seward County, the importance of hard work, and the standard the Saints are chasing heading into this season.

“We’re trying to get to Hutch… that’s the goal.”

One of the top returning freshman guards in JUCO basketball continues to raise his stock after a massive weekend in Dallas.
